Carpet Cleaning
We specialize in the hot water extraction method. (Often referred to it as steam cleaning.) This method is the preferred method by the major carpet manufacturers. We start by adding a pre-spray to the carpet that separates the trapped soils from the carpet fibers. Then we use powerful equipment to both rinse and extract deep down in to the carpet, removing dirt and allergens. Leaving a clean soft carpet that dries very quickly.
We cannot guarantee that all spots and stains will be removed from your carpet. There are many circumstances that can cause permanent staining or discoloration to the carpet fibers. The age and type of carpet fiber, can be a factor. We will always do our best, and can remove most stains or spots that we run into.
Vacuuming of all traffic areas is recommended however not required. If necessary we can vacuum prior to the hot water extraction process.
Dry times will vary depending on conditions within the home. Temperature, humidity, and air movement can all have an effect on dry time. Depending on these conditions it can take anywhere from 2 to 24 hours for the carpet to dry. If the home has an HVAC system it is recommended that the system be left on both for airflow and heat. This will drastically improve dry time. If it is warm and dry outside windows can also be opened during in order to accelerate dry times.
Cleaning time is dependent on how soiled the carpet is. Since quality is our main concern, heavily soiled carpets will take longer than those that are not as dirty. Any furniture that needs to be moved and or tight spaces, can increase cleaning time. On average you can expect it to take about 20 to 30 minutes per room.
Yes, we are happy to move furniture when needed and put it back into it's original place when complete. There are certain items we do not move such as electronics, beds, china cabinets, pianos, etc. All small nick knacks would need to be removed prior to our arrival.
We believe that you should get the best quality and service at a fair price. In order to do so we measure the area to be cleaned only, and charge accordingly. Rooms can be large, small, or somewhere in between, making it impossible to accurately guess the area to be cleaned. By using square footage pricing, we ensure our customers are not paying for an area that isn't being cleaned. You will never be surprised by a higher cost because one larger room is considered to be two rooms.

Do you use products specifically designed to clean carpet properly. Pricing can vary depending on how much time they plan on taking to do the job. After all if you want do do a good job it will usually take some time. There is also costs to use quality products in order to ensure your carpet is not damaged by hard to remove detergents that are not intended for cleaning carpet. Usually this is a sign that the carpet was in need of being stretched prior to cleaning. If we notice it during cleaning we bring it to the owners attention right away. Most of the time it will lay back down and disappear when dry.
This is a problem that only occurs if carpet is not cleaned properly. When this occurs it is because soap residue was left in the carpet. Since it was not removed during cleaning, it will attract dirt as long as it is left in the carpet. Often times the carpet will look worse than it did before after only a week or two. Our hot water extraction cleaning process consists of using a specially formulated solution to gently loosen soils, and allergens trapped within the carpet fibers without leaving residue behind.
We cannot guarantee that carpet cleaning will get rid of fleas since if they are in carpet they are most likely in furniture and any other cracks or crevices. We recommend that the fleas be killed prior to cleaning by whatever means is preferred by the customer. For any questions in regards to dealing with fleas it would be best to contact a professional exterminator.
Spots returning after carpet cleaning is usually caused by wicking. As the carpet is cleaned and rinsed, a little bit of moisture is left behind, as it dries any stains or dirt that was in the pad or underneath the carpet fibers to be cleaned can be pulled up during the drying process. On occasion there may be something that was not visible from the surface prior to cleaning that wicks up later. If this happens please contact us.
Yes. Most carpets come with a protector from the manufacturer. With normal everyday use the protector is removed over time. Carpet manufacturers recommend protector be reapplied at least once a year. For very high traffic areas, reapplication is recommended more often.
You can walk on damp carpets barefoot or with socks right away, however we don't recommend wearing outside shoes or letting pets walk on the carpet until it is dry.

Upholstery Cleaning
Dry times can vary depending on the conditions within the home, and type of fabric. If protectant is added dry time will be a little longer. In order to minimize dry times we use a shear dry system specifically designed to focus on the fabric itself rather than spray jets that can soak the cushion. This helps to minimize the necessary dry times significantly. Dry times can vary from 2-8 hours.
The accumulation of dry soils combined with daily use have the biggest impact on your upholstery's protective coating. This normal wear and tear causes that protective coating to deteriorate over time. Although having your upholstery cleaned may have an impact on the protective coating, most of it has most likely been removed with daily use. That is why we recommend re-applying the protectant once it has been cleaned.
Most manufacturers recommend having your upholstered furniture professionally cleaned every 12-24 months depending on use.
We use our powerful hot water extraction method along with a shear dry system to clean upholstery. This allows us to effectively clean the upholstery without injecting moisture deep in to the cushion. This process yields amazing results and reduced dry times.
Yes, in fact we always recommend an application of protectant after cleaning. This is one of the most effective ways to keep your upholstered furniture looking great for years to come.
